1 1/2 sticks of melted butter
2 eggs
1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
2 cups chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts of your choice (optional)
**1 Tablespoon of cinnamon (optional, added by your favorite blogger)
- Preheat over to 375 F
- Blend first 4 ingredients in a bowl. Add flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Mix well.
- Fold in the chocolate chips (and nuts if desired).
- Drop by teaspoonfuls on oiled baking sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes, until browned on the bottom but soft in the middle. Don't overcook. The cookies should be browned on the bottom only.
